Hostelling International Iceland

Meet Auður and her boyfriend Hrannar. Auður is our webmaster and social media enthusiast who works at our office in Borgartún. Among other things, she is responsible for this blog and is painfully aware that she’s talking about herself in third person right now. Auður and Hrannar want to invite you to their home in Reykjavík for a New Years Eve dinner. They promise good food, front row seats to the amazing fireworks at midnight and possibly failed attempts to explain the ever popular Áramótaskaup. 

Auður and Hrannar’s invitation is a part of the Inspired by Iceland campaign where the people of Iceland invite their guests to come and enjoy life with the locals. HI Iceland encourages all their staff and hostel managers to participate in this project and hopefully we’ll be able to share some more invites soon.
